The amenities are not well maintained. The gym was closed with zero notice on labor day for sudden maintenance, and has remained closed since then (over a month). Management hasn't given us any updates regarding the closure. In addition, the units have very questionable design overall. 1. The white panels they attach on all the cupboards and dishwasher are incredibly heavy. So much so that the dishwasher door will slam and dislodge the nails keeping the dishwasher in place if you accidentally let go of the door while it is raised. Other buildings in the area, e.g., Jackson Park, with the exact same appliances attach much lighter panels that maintain the suspension on dishwasher door. 2. The stove is fully touch capacitive but will not register input if your hands have even a tiny bit of water on them. It's really annoying to use. 3. The master bedroom uses a doorless shower that keeps splashing water out and onto the bathroom floor. It leaves a bunch of puddles that I then have to clean up. The solution is to use a water damn or similar, but at that point I'd rather just have a door.

This is a great building in a great area!! Building is well maintained and staff is very welcoming. Love The Greenhouse.

Had a chance to visit The Greenhouse recently and only have good things to say. The property is clean, modern, and in an excellent location with easy access to everything Long Island City has to offer. The building has a great feel, and it's easy to see why it's such a popular option for anyone looking to live in the area.

This building has exceeded my expectations. Everything is well maintained, from the hallways to the elevators, and any maintenance requests get handled quickly. The neighborhood is quiet but still close to everything I need, especially the transit. It's clear the management team genuinely cares about the residents. Highly recommend to anyone considering this building!

I lived at The Greenhouse for a year and overall had a mixed experience. Pros: The best part of my stay was definitely the super. They were friendly, responsive, and made sure any maintenance issues were taken care of quickly. Cons: Unfortunately, my move-out experience left a bad impression. We were charged $1,200 from the deposit for a stovetop replacement, which felt excessive and unfair, especially since it wasn’t damaged through negligence or misuse. It soured what was otherwise a decent rental experience. If you're considering moving in, just be very clear about move-out expectations and document everything thoroughly.
